Mosaicture Class - January 22 9am -4pmMOSAICTURE (Mosaics + Picture)
Colorful, vibrant, new, a festival for the eyes are words used in describing these unique artistic mosaics. Using some traditional mosaic tiles, some hand made polymer clay tiles and some fused glass you will open up a new world of creativity. Your class will include all the material and supplies needed to complete a 5”x 6.5” mosaicture. No grouting will be needed. During the class you will learn to shape, impress and color polymer clay. The finishing techniques will create rich and antique looking tiles. You will also attach several small fused glass elements and several Italian made mosaic glass tiles to create this one-of-a-kind work of art. Your friends will be impressed and it will launch you to create larger and even more distinctive mosaictures. Leave with a completed mosaic ready to hang inside. No mosaic experience needed. This class is only available at Northwood Glass & Art. This class can be completed in seven hours. Seating is limited. Tuition $88.

Fused Glass Class available every Thursday evening 6-8pm. $25.00 per class.
