$3,600 Raised for Florence De George Boys and Girls Club and 37 Holiday Trees donated to local families

In true holiday spirit, the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and the Northwood Village Merchant Association organized a fundraiser during its monthly Art & Wine Promenade. With the help and support of local strategic business coach John Di Lemme and his team at Di Lemme Development Group, forty three holiday trees were sold raising a total of $3,500 for the Florence De George Boys and Girls Club. Of those trees, thirty seven of the individuals who purchased one donated it back to the Boys and Girls Club to be given to a family.
Eight of the trees bought and donated were beautifully decorated by the merchants of Northwood Village (http://northwoodholidaytrees.com/decoratedtrees/).

“The look on the faces of the families when they were presented with a tree is indescribable.” said Gary McKinnon, Director of the Florence De George Boys and Girls Club. “As I watched the tears streaming down their faces I could not feel more blessed knowing that we were able to help bring happiness to so many families during the holidays.”

“When you give, you will receive. It's ancient wisdom and has been proven time and time again over thousands of years.” said John Di Lemme, International Motivational Speaker and Strategic Business Coach, “Being able the give to the Boys and Girls Club and share the opportunity to give with others has been such a blessing this Christmas. I also want to thank the West Palm Beach CRA for supporting the community and believing in these kids and their families.”

Lowe’s donated some of the trees and decorations and local entrepreneur and motivational speaker John Di Lemme played an integral role in helping to sell the trees as he continually shares his message about the spirit of giving. The merchants of Northwood Village were thrilled to be part of such an amazing event this holiday season!
